We do our best to protect the privacy of the children both online and in person. Online we don't use their real names or publish their sensitive information. In person we are careful when sharing information making sure to not share sensitive details of their stories.

Shalom is a Hebrew word that is commonly used for greetings and it means Peace. We chose Shalom as the name since we want Shalom to be a peaceful home, where the children experience peace in a life full of changes. 

Ennerdale Road Baptist Church is the home church that supports the Melgar Family. They continue to support them along with MSC Canada which the Melgar family is also under.
